The Alvin Synchronal-Tilt Task Stool - Fast is an extremely comfortable and rugged euro-style stool that features a soft black polyurethane seat with lower back support, synchro-tilt mechanism and height adjustment from 21 inch to 30 inch. It tilts 6 degree forward and 7 degree back. The height and tilt can both be easily adjusted while seated. The Synchronal-Tilt Task Stool is great to use while working on large easel paintings, canvas projects, framing, drafting, filing and much more. The reinforced nylon base is 24 inches in diameter and comes complete with a set of locking casters and a set of non-slip floor glides.

The tilt mechanism puts the seat in a perfect position for painting. The wide base makes the stool rock steady. We used the flat feet then put 1 1/2 inch felt pads on them to provide mobility without scratching the wood floors.

Cool that it tilts, but when tilted, I can't sit on it for more than a few minutes without getting a snuggie. It'll take some getting used to, but I hope that I'll grow to love it.

This is an excellent chair for the craftsperson or artist. I have two tables in my studio. One for the actual project I am working on, and the other table is a prep area. I like to roll back and forth between the two tables and this chair is perfect for that. Just what I was looking for! Highly recommended product.

I love this stool. It's very comfortable and I really like the locking casters. It's very hard to find a good artist stool with locking casters. It also comes with rubber feet but I like the ability to roll around or be stationary. The tilt ability is very nice. Over all this is a durable stool that will last for years. I definitely recommend. Can't beat the price!

My grandmother can no longer stand to cook a meal. I starting looking into barstools and found this stool. She said that it is absolutely perfect in the kitchen. Rolls easily, adjusts easily and the locking casters are a HUGE plus.

I use this stool primarily for painting large canvases. I appreciate the height adjustment feature, but it would be nice if it had a wider range and would also adjust to lower heights. The stool seems sturdy and is fairly comfortable, but could be improved with slightly more padding. Overall, it is a good deal and one that I would recommend to other painters.

I purchased this to use at my sewing tables. The description says "comfortable and rugged euro-style stool that features a soft black polyurethane seat with lower back support". It's "rugged" but not so "comfortable". The seat is definitely not soft as advertised - it's extremely rigid - no give. The little "tail' is not much back support. Better suited for those with narrow bottoms. Those that have a wider berth will find it very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this if you sit for several hours at a time. It's great for short tasks where you have to scoot around from station to station. The low profile is great for pushing under a table to get it out of the way. The casters work great on hardwood floors and each caster locks so it won't move on you when it's not supposed to. I still have mixed feeling about it. I'm trying to figure out how I can pad the seat!
