The ability to adjust the height of the chair is perfect for me when I am painting. Often, I move back from the canvas to view my work, and the chair moves easily and safely. Also, the footrest is fantastic for my short legs. I absolutely love it, and you can't beat the price for what you get!

I purchased this chair to use with my drafting table while creating drawings. I was looking for something economical but sturdy. Everything was easy to put together except for the wheels; they would not go all the way in and had to be hammered in. The chair does not roll well on carpeting, but is fine on other flooring. The materials seem a little "cheap", but you get what you pay for. It's comfortable enough and will probably be fine--time will tell. I just have to be careful with the foot rest because it sticks out from the chair and one could easily trip on it if you let your mind wander when you start to get up from the chair.
